He spent more than $25.000 in casinos, only to get experience on a poker table. The movie was released in 1998, and it was a real success. On the other hand, Matt couldn’t stop playing, and in 2011 he was involved in a huge scandal regarding the Texas Hold’em games. He enjoyed playing it in luxury hotels, with his friend Ben Affleck.

50 Cent has gambling problems since forever. Unfortunately for him, in 2012 everything exploded, when he had bet $500.000 on a championship game between the San Francisco 49ers and the New York Giants. He won the bet, and he showed to his fans how it looks like to hold half million dollars cash. Later, he continued to bet and to visit casinos, but he never had the same luck again. Nowadays, his gambling problems got so serious, that he even tried some therapy. He is forbidden to bet and gamble, but we are not sure how serious he is about it.
6. Allen Iverson
Allen Iverson’s gambling problems are so serious that he even got banned from many casinos, including the ones in Atlantic City and Detroit. Also, some banks from Colorado and Georgia, took over Allen’s houses, since he owed them money. That was not all: another judge from Georgia ordered the NBA former player to pay $86.000 to a local jeweler, for an outstanding bill. Unfortunately for him, the story of Iverson is even worse: he lost more than $160 million on gambling, and that is simply shocking and sad.
5. Tiger Woods
All the rumors about Tiger Woods and his gambling passion say that the singer was used to bet around $25.000 in one single hand. In his good days, he was used to visit casinos every night, so you can do the math. Usually, Tiger enjoyed playing blackjack, and he even got a limit of $1 million bet. He was often see in Las Vegas, with his friend Charles Barkley, a former basketball player, gambling in the Mansion, Tryst, or the Bank.

It looks like Spiderman also has a big problem with gambling, especially with poker. Tobey had serious problems after he was sued for being involved in an illegal gambling game. He was close friend with Leonardo DiCaprio, and they were playing poker together. The comedian from “Everybody loves Raymond” also played a pathological gambler, Joe Tranelli, in a popular TV show. He is a compulsive gambler, so he even tried going to Gambler’s Anonymous, hoping to find a solution for his problem. In the last years, he managed to stay away from casinos, but he continued to make virtual bets, especially for golf games. Now, he says he wasn’t watching golf and television anymore. Everybody has heard already about Charlie Sheen’s gambling problems. His ex-wife, Denise Richards, admitted that Charlie was used to spend more than $200.000 per week, only on sports gambling. Charlie was famous for his huge paycheck, of $1.8 million per Two and a Half Man episode, but he was spending most of this money on gambling. In 2011, he had a lot of controversial interviews, and later he was kicked out of the show. It was the moment when he said he finished with his gambling addiction.
